EVAPORATOR

VSEL Evaporator used in purification, recovery, concentration and effluent treatment in large number of applications in the field of process, chemicals and pharmaceutical . Evaporators are devices used in the chemical industry to remove the solvent content from liquid solutions through the application of heat.

Types of Evaporator are:

Multiple Effect Evaporator consists of two or more stages operating at different pressures. The vapor generated in the first stage is used to heat the subsequent stages, increasing overall efficiency. This design reduces energy consumption by utilizing the latent heat of vaporization from the previous stage to drive evaporation in subsequent stages.

Agitated thin film evaporator is a specialized type of evaporator used for the gentle and efficient evaporation of heat-sensitive and viscous materials. It is designed to create a thin film of liquid feed on the heated surface by using mechanical agitation.

Forced circulation evaporators are a type of evaporator system used to concentrate liquids by circulating the liquid through the heating surface with the help of pump. It actively pump the liquid through the system to achieve higher evaporation rates and better heat transfer.

In Rising Film Evaporators, the liquid enters the evaporator from the bottom, and as it boils, the vapor bubbles rise through the liquid, promoting efficient heat transfer and effective separation of components. The rising film configuration allows for high heat transfer rates and is particularly useful for heat-sensitive or foamy solutions.

In this design, the liquid forms a thin film on the evaporator surface, and due to gravity, it flows downward and evaporates. These are particularly suitable for heat-sensitive materials and are known for their high efficiency and minimal residence time.

Waste Water Evaporators concentrate the wastewater, reducing its volume significantly and leaving behind a concentrated residue or sludge that can be further processed or disposed off in an environmentally responsible manner.

Short Path Evaporators are designed to minimize the distance by the vapor during the evaporation process, reducing the residence time and exposure to high temperatures. This design prevents thermal decomposition and ensures the preservation of sensitive compounds.
